From Greece to Cincinnati
It all began in 1912 when a Greek immigrant, Nicholas Lambrinides, decided to set shop in Cincinnati. Placing his trust in his family recipes, Lambrinides started slowly (but surely) in starting a small diner where he can cook his dishes.
By 1949, Lambrinides and his three sons decided to take the plunge in creating their own business. Naming the small joint as Skyline Chili (since the place had a really nice view of the downtown area of Cincinnati), the restaurant enjoyed a following among the locals, primarily with the warm and tasty meals offered.
In just approximately 20 years, Skyline Chili grew to as much as a hundred restaurants (mostly located in the Ohio area)!
